Every Defijn human works with AI on their shoulder. It drafts, scaffolds, summarises, and eats the repeat work, so the people on the job spend their time on the part that pays. If a task doesn’t need a human’s judgment, it doesn’t get one.

The studio itself runs on machines. Reporting, handoffs, knowledge capture, production pipelines, the plumbing nobody pays for but everyone feels when it breaks. We built Defijn so the boring parts run themselves, which is how we stay small, fast, and still coherent.

When it earns its place, AI becomes a feature of the product itself, copilots, generative workflows, retrieval, personalisation. But only when the use case demands it. We don’t bolt AI onto a product because it’s expected. We build it in because it makes the product better than the version without it.
